YMMV, but in practice — Thread is overkill with my setup.
GadgetGuru: Totally agree — I had the same issue and solved it by updating the driver. Took me a while to locate that parameter.

I've been using this for a few months and it's been pretty solid. The automations work well after you configure correctly.
